Refund & Cancellation Policy – Indian Concrete Institute, Hyderabad Centre

The Indian Concrete Institute – Hyderabad Centre (ICI Hyderabad) values your participation in its programs, events, and membership activities. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the rules for cancellations, transfers, and refunds related to payments made through icihyd.org.


1. Event Registrations

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to contact@icihyd.org.

  • Cancellations received at least 30 days before the event date will be eligible for a refund after deducting an administrative fee ( 10%).

  • Cancellations received less than 30 days before the event date will not be eligible for a refund.

  • No refunds will be issued for no-shows (participants who fail to attend without prior notice).


2. Substitution of Participants

  • If a registered participant cannot attend, they may nominate a substitute by notifying the organizers in writing at least 7 days before the event.

  • Substitutions after this period will be at the discretion of ICI Hyderabad.


3. Membership Fees

  • Membership fees are non-refundable once processed and approved.

  • In case of technical errors in payment (e.g., duplicate transaction), members may request a refund within 7 working days of the transaction.


4. Event Cancellation by Organizers

  • ICI Hyderabad reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, or cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, low registrations, or government restrictions).

  • In such cases, participants will be notified promptly, and registration fees may either be refunded in full or adjusted toward a future event.

  • ICI Hyderabad’s liability is limited only to the registration fee paid.


5. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 30 working days of receiving a valid request.

  • Refunds will be made to the original payment method, unless otherwise specified.

  • Any bank charges, transaction fees, or currency conversion costs are borne by the participant.
